Improved night-time operation is provided through new LED headlights for all FRR/D, FSR/D, FTR and FV models, while the entire range receives a safety boost with the introduction of cab-tilt warning.
In the cab, the four-cylinder 4x2 models also have a new instrument panel with 4.2-inch colour multi-info display and a range of steering-wheel controls.

Updates
Isuzu Australia’s National Sales Manager, Les Spaltman said Isuzu had looked at how customers were using their medium-duty trucks and they’ve targeted the updates at key market requirements.
Active safety with the advanced driving assistance systems is among the features added to the 12-14 tonne GVM segment.
The factory tipper remains as does the popular Freightpack.
New AV system
Isuzu’s new audio visual and multimedia unit is called the MyIsuzu Co-Pilot. It’s a 10.1-inch touch-screen, developed via Blaupunkt Asia Pacific with a design and user interface exclusive to Isuzu.
A new navigation system from HERE Navigation featuring smart updates for maps, live traffic with a mobile phone wifi connection and the requisite truck specific data and routing has also been introduced.
The new AV screen features a handy menu down the right-hand side close to the driver's left hand.
Other tech features include:
- a new, digital low-light capable reversing camera
- DAB digital audio as well as the usual AM/FM, plus 32 GB onboard storage for music and video.
- Two USB ports and a smartphone storage pocket plus wireless phone charging capability - standard in FV, FX and FY models, and optional in others.
- On screen access to Isuzu truck owner’s manuals
Safety
- All 4x2 models with the four-cylinder 4-NHK1 engine in the 11 to 14 tonne GVM range feature the full complement of Isuzu’s active safety suite. The active safety suite uses a millimetre-wave radar and camera for monitoring and analysing the environment in front of the truck.
- Improved braking response and faster acting electronic stability control has been brought about by an upgrade to full-air brakes in the FSR models
- Headlight efficiency has been upgraded on all models, except 4x4s, with new LED headlamps that feature LED position (parking) lamps and LED main beam lamps.
- FSR models have been upgraded to full air brakes.
The heavy-duty Isuzu FX and FY Series models also receive updates, including the MyIsuzu Co-Pilot AV unit.
In common with the FV models, FX and FY ranges are upgraded with the new headlamp assembly, with low beam and position LED lamps, and halogen high beam and fog lamps.
FYV 24-300 gets selected upgrades including the new AV units and CAN connector for fleets.
